Cutlery To Philly

CONCLUDED

From March 23rd to April 6th, 2025, I hid three pieces of cutlery across the city to help Visit Philadelphia celebrate The Chef Conference. Each Sunday, I posted a puzzle that provided clues to the location of a utensil, and the first person to find it won a prize! The solution and winner weren’t revealed until 24 hours later, so Puzzlers didn’t know if the utensil has been claimed unless they went out and looked for it themselves…

Where:
Puzzle videos were posted on TikTok and Instagram Reels. Cutlery was hidden within Philadelphia city limits.

Rules:
• Each Puzzler may claim no more than one piece of cutlery.
• Do not trespass or violate any laws while looking for cutlery.

How to participate:
When a Cutlery To Philly video dropped, you could solve its puzzle and go find the utensil! To officially claim victory and win the associated prize, you had to send me a selfie while holding up the piece of cutlery. Unlike with Keys To Philly, I did not announce a winner as soon as the utensil is found.

Prizes:
• The Fork Finder, Christopher M., won two tickets to a wine and hip hop event on Saturday, April 5, from 12–2pm ($100 value).
• The Spoon Spotter, Helen H., won two tickets to a Tiny Table Tour on Saturday, April 5, from 2:30–6:30pm ($200 value).
• The Knife Knower, Anna S., won a gift card to Irwin’s, a restaurant participating in The Chef Conference ($150 value).
