Correct!

This site, Pier 53, was once home to the Washington Avenue Immigration Station, “Philadelphia’s Ellis Island.” It was one of the largest immigration stations in the country, admitting just over 1 million European immigrants between 1873, when it opened, and 1915, when it shut down. At its peak, it processed 300 people per hour. When the pier was turned into a park in 2014, remnants of the immigration station structure were collected from the site and repurposed in the design.
