Philly Street Art Hunt

WILL RETURN AT AN UNDETERMINED DATE

This prize-filled puzzle hunt event gives you a whole new way to explore a Philly neighborhood and see public art! At the start, you and your teammate receive four meticulously crafted puzzles. Activate your lateral thinking skills and turn a keen eye to the world around you to solve each puzzle, and they’ll guide you to four hidden art drops! Each team takes home four pieces of art (one from each of the featured artists) and the fastest teams to complete the Hunt win large bonus prizes!

Where:
Each new Hunt takes place in a different neighborhood. Previous Hunts have taken place in Queen Village, Fairmount, East Passyunk, Fishtown, Old City, Manayunk, and Graduate Hospital. Join The Puzzle Well to vote on the location of the next Hunt!

When:
I generally host one to two Hunts per year, in the spring and/or fall.

Time to complete:
Most teams take about 2 hours to finish, but there’s no set end time, so take as long as you need!

Difficulty:
◉◉◉◉◎

Price:
$45/person. That may be more than you spend on most events—but Philly Street Art Hunt gives you two hours of unique, outdoor entertainment and ends with your team taking home four artworks by local artists. And you’ll have the chance to win a large bonus prize, too! It takes me a ton of time to design and test these innovative puzzles, and I pay the featured artists for their work. (If you’re able, please tip them when you buy tickets!)

“These events are well worth your time and $$$. The effort that goes into each Hunt is top tier, and the artwork alone is worth the ticket price. The wife and have attended the last 3 and without question will continue to attend whenever able.” —Nate

How to participate:
Buy some tickets and show up on the day! Your confirmation email will contain the starting location.

Prizes:
The four prizes that you and your teammate will find and collect during the Hunt are made by Philadelphia street artists. The featured artists also make larger bonus prizes, which are awarded to the four fastest teams to complete the Hunt.
